Interesting album, as always, from St. Vincent. Just like previous albums, there are songs that I love, songs that I never want to hear again. Which I don’t intend as a slight, I think that’s a sign that she’s swinging for the fences. You can really hear what she was aiming for, that drenched-in-the-70s vibes. Feels like a great album to light some candles, turn off the lights, and play intimately through headphones.
